IBM, Amazon to work together to extend reach of data tools for oil firms

IBM and Amazon say they have solved the problem of data localisation in oil producing countries. Using IBM’s OpenShift, oil firms can use the oil-industry cloud data tools in their privately owned data centres within their countries.
